The Designer Behind the Prints

Hi, I'm Sophia.

I grew up between Cyprus and Mallorca, where I fell in love with colour, nature and long summers by the sea. Those memories still inspire every collection I design today.

After studying Printed Textile Design at the London College of Fashion, I launched Sophia Alexia in 2015 with the dream of creating beautiful resortwear that women could wear year after year.

Designing prints has always been my favourite part of the process. Every Sophia Alexia print is designed by me and is exclusive to the brand. I find inspiration everywhere I travel, from architecture and flowers to local markets, beautiful hotels and the colours of the Mediterranean.

I love creating collections that feel effortless to wear. Rather than designing individual pieces, I think about a whole holiday wardrobe. Swimwear, dresses, cover-ups and accessories are all designed to work together, so you can mix, match and create your own look.

I'm also a firm believer that it's the little details that make something feel special. From beautiful trims and statement buttons to hand-finished tassels, beading and gold stitching, every collection is designed
with care and attention to detail.

More than anything, I want women to feel confident, comfortable and like the best version of themselves when they wear Sophia Alexia. My hope is that these are the pieces you pack for every holiday, wear on repeat and keep in your wardrobe for years to come.
